The organizer of the Nigerian Grassroots Leadership merit Award has announced the emergence of Hon. Bulus Daniel, Executive chairman, Lamurde local government area, Adamawa state as a recipient of the 2024 edition of the award in recognition of his selfless and visionary leadership in Lamurde local government area.
The Nigerian grassroots leadership merit award which is an annual award was instituted to celebrate and reward selfless leadership at the grassroots. The award conferment ceremony which will draw dignitaries from across the country shall be held in Abuja.
In a press release by the secretary, Nomination committee, Barr. Festus Adeboyeku said Hon. Bulus Daniel nomination was based on his exceptional performance, people-oriented initiatives and laudable projects carried out in his local government area. He noted that Hon. Bulus who is currently in his second tenure in office as the executive chairman of Lamurde local government has embarked on developmental projects in Lamurde local government area and indeed is a living hope to the survival of our evolving democracy.
According to him, the award is to establish the culture of accountability and encourage the awardees to do more towards the development of Grassroots.
