With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he sought higher education at Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo to pursue a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering and he graduated in 1988. Balogun then enroled at the University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt in 1990, where he was bestowed with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering in 1997.
