The organizer of the Nigerian Grassroots Leadership merit Award has announced the emergence of Hon Aminu Umar Yandayi, Executive chairman, Paikoro local government area, Niger state as a recipient of the award in recognition of his visionary leadership in Paikoro local government area.
The Nigerian grassroots leadership merit award which is an award was instituted to celebrate and reward selfless leadership at the grassroots. The award conferment ceremony which will be held in Paikoro is to reward selfless Leadership.
In a press release by the secretary, Nomination committee, Barr. Festus Adeboyeku said Hon. Ahmed Gangkuba nomination was based on his exceptional performance, people-oriented initiatives and laudable projects carried out in his local government area. He noted that Hon. Aminu has demonstrated exemplary leadership by the level of impactful projects carried out in the council with the many human developmental initiatives in the local government area and this he said is indeed a living hope to the survival of our evolving democracy.
According to him, the award is to establish the culture of accountability and encourage the awardee to do more towards the development of Grassroots.
