Hon. Magaji Labaran Ingawa, Executive Chairman, Ingawa Local Government Area, Katsina State has emerged as one of the recipients of the 2024 Nigeria Grassroots Leadership Merit Award.
The Nigerian grassroots leadership merit award which is an annual award was instituted to celebrate and reward selfless leadership at the grassroots. The award conferment ceremony which will draw dignitaries from across the country shall be held in Abuja.
According to a press statement released by the organizer, he emerged after a thorough scrutiny of nominations by the general public based on performance and contribution to the development of the grassroots. The award is to establish the culture of accountability as a symbol for responsible governance and encourage recipients to do more, the statement reads.
Hon. Magaji Labaran nomination was based on his exceptional performance and laudable projects carried out in Ingawa local government area. Hon. Labaran’s developmental and Empowerment projects in the local government area is indeed a living hope to the survival of our developing democracy.
