Born on August 29, 1970, in the picturesque town of Tenti Babba, located in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Christopheeeer’s journey reflects the spirit of perseverance and the pursuit of excellence. His academic foundations were laid at LGED Primary School Tenti, where he studied from 1977 to 1983, followed by his secondary education at Government Secondary School Kurgwi in 1988. Eager to broaden his horizons, he pursued a Diploma in Accountancy at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi between 1995 and 1997, and later, he achieved his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the National Open University of Nigeria in 2019. His educational pursuits underscore his commitment to mastering the financial domain which equip him with the tools necessary for success in an ever-evolving landscape.
Christopher’s professional journey began at U.T.C. Nigeria PLC Jos Farm, where he commenced his career as an Accounts Clerk from 1992 to 1996. His exceptional performance led to his promotion to Account Supervisor, a role he held from 1996 to 1999. During these formative years, Christopher honed his financial acumen and developed a keen understanding of organisational operations.
His entrepreneurial spirit emerged when he took the helm as Managing Director at Walmanca Invest Company, where his leadership transformed the company and solidified his reputation as a visionary in the business community. Additionally, his involvement as Chairman of the Potatoes Trader Association of Nigeria, Plateau State Branch demonstrates his commitment to promoting agricultural trade and supporting local farmers.
In 2023, Christopher Audu Manship stepped into a key role as the Transition Implementation Chairman for Qua’an Pan Local Government in Plateau State. In this capacity, he has focused on facilitating a smooth transition within the local government, championing initiatives that enhance community welfare and facilitating sustainable development. His leadership style is characterised by inclusivity and transparency as he ensures that the voices of his people are heard and considered.
He is currently the Executive Chairman of Quan’an pan Local council after the resounding victory in the 2024 local Government Election in Plateau state
